Students at the CWLA Summer Program at the International School of Louisiana had a blast parading through the halls during this year’s camp. “The parade was a great way to end camp,” said Site Director, Todd Shaffer. Under the direction of Mr. Lillion, students in the puppetry class were able to create stick and sock puppets to show-off during the parade. Additional students, under the direction of Mr. Jordan, accompanied the parade with drumming.
“Our theme this year was Camp Be Kind and every student strived to follow this theme throughout the summer,” said Shaffer, “All of our staff are very proud of the work each student put into the camp and are looking forward to beginning afterschool programming in the fall!”
