NOLA Fashion Week Kids Event

On Monday, March 5th Community Works of Louisiana hosted a Kids Fashion Day at the Ogden Museum through a partnership with NOLA Fashion Week. Youth from throughout New Orleans and students in the CWLA / 21st CCLC AfterSchool Program at the International School of Louisiana participated in fun fashion activities.  Youth learned about different materials and created bandanas, necklaces, bowties, and bows. The youth were also able to use the materials they learned about to create their own clothing designs based off of William Wegman photography.

Community Works would like to thank the Ogden Museum for hosting the event and NOLA Fashion Week for helping to bring fashion and art to youth throughout the city and within CWLA AfterSchool Programs.
